Tommy Ivo was the first to break the 9 second mark in the quarter mile with a twin-engine rail dragster. However, he wasn’t content with being an ordinary drag racer. He wanted to be on television, so “TV Tommy” as he became known, added 2 additional engines onto his twin-engine dragster to create the “Showboat”. The demonstration runs roused crowds across the country. Kit features fully painted Tommy Ivo figure, 4 complete engine assemblies, and tube frame with separate body panels. 214 parts.
